ADHD Support - Build Systems That Work For You
ADHD Support - What We Know Works
We know that ADHD is an executive functioning disorder. The unfortunate irony is that effective interventions all involve planning, maintaining, and monitoring - all processes which are impacted by ADHD. It is not that we don't want to make things easier for us - it is just too easy to get caught up in the cycle of finding a reel on social media that contains a system/trick/tip that looks like it might work, trying it for x amount of time, realising that it does not actually 'fix' what you thought it would, then abandoning it and returning to square one. This could lead to a cycle of hope, trial, and frustration when our expectations are not realised and our ADHD symptoms still run rampant on our daily functioning. It's okay - we've been there too.

Unfortunately, there is no quick-fix with ADHD symptom management. However, we do know that several factors can increase success and reduce frustration. These include:

-
Understanding your challenges - the barriers that impact your functioning
-
Creating goals that makes sense to you
-
Creating Strategies, Routines, and Systems that addresses known barriers
-
Understanding your strengths and weaknesses; and how they impact effective and successful intervention implementation
-
Workshopping issues to tweak interventions so that they work with you
-
Access to support at the point of need
Support At Sprig
At Sprig, we offer ADHD support led by professionals who also live with ADHD and has an intimate understanding of the struggles and frustrations associated with the process of finding something that works with your ADHD.

Our aim is to make access to support as easy, accessible, and responsive as possible. We do not give generic fact sheets or interventions - no cookie cutter advice here; just support that adapts to you and your situation.

We also know that life doesn't wait to just before your next scheduled appointment to throw you a curveball. That is why our support model has been designed to be flexible, to meet you where you're at, and to provide support at the point of need.
ADHD Support - The Process
Our ADHD Support is flexible; while we have packages, you do not need to purchase a package to access support. We offer Intake Sessions, and Ongoing Support Hours (either bought as a pre-paid package or ad-hoc).

Our ADHD Support starts with a 75–90 minute intake session, where we explore:
-
Your current challenges and goals
-
Your mental health, academic, work, and social landscape
-
Strengths you already have (even if you don’t see them yet

We’ll then collaboratively work on personalised strategies, routines, and systems to help you move forward.

Ongoing Support
Ongoing Support has been mindfully designed to provide flexibility, and to enable you to get the support when you need it. Ongoing support can be for whatever you need it to be. You can use it as a 'check in' to see how you are going, and to identify difficulties before it becomes overwhelming. You can use it to workshop or 'tweak' an intervention that was suggested but was not working quite right. Or you can use it to address new difficulties that may have arisen, or to integrate new interventions. Our ongoing ADHD support is available via telehealth (via Teams) to allow easy and quick access to our ADHD support professional.
Ongoing Support is sold as 'hours' of support*, to be booked in 20 minute increment through our online booking system.
If you want to pre-book your ongoing support in 20 minute sessions ahead of time right at the start, you can. This can be helpful if you are a student and can foresee when you would need more support at different periods of the study period.

If life has thrown a curveball, or if you suddenly feel overwhelmed and need support soon; our online booking system allows you to check when the next available session is and allows immediate booking.

If you feel that you need a longer session, you can book 2 or 3 sessions back to back, giving you either a 40-minute support session, or a full hour, if needed.

If all you want was the Intake Session, and you feel that you do not need ongoing support; that's okay too!

*Our ADHD Support Hours are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
