Rebate Options
Mental Health Treatment Plan/Referral

If you have medicare, you are eligible for a medicare rebate of $145.25 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year under the Better Access medicare scheme. This brings your out-of-pocket cost to $94.75 for eligible clients/sessions.
You will need a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and a Referral to access this. I will need to have the valid Referral prior to or in the session to process this rebate; the provision of the Mental Health Treatment Plan is optional. You may obtain the MHTP and referral from your GP. For the referral to be valid, it must contain the relevant information:

Medicare does not usually offer rebates for Assessments.

Private Healthcare
​
Some Private Healthcare Insurance provide rebates for psychological services depending on cover. You are advised to enquire on this with your health insurer prior to your first session.
Policies
Late Cancellations/Non Payment of Fees​
​
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee.
For sessions cancelled with between 24 - 48 hours notice, a charge of 50% of the total session fee will be applied.
For sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee will apply.
​
If you have an unpaid session, you will not be permitted to make any further appointments until the account has been settled. This is to prevent the potential accumulation of debt.
